A digital campaign related to discouragement, focusing on men aged 18 to 35 years based in the UK is being pushed out by the council of the Dutch city.

The plan forms part of campaign to clean up the raunchy reputation of Amsterdam as the most freethinking party capital of Europe.

Characteristically rounded, the videos portray the way young men astonished in the street, tied up by the local police, finger-printed with their official photographs taken.

The online ads, stressing the dangers linked with the extreme usage of drugs and alcohol, will be activated when people in Britain start taking part in various stag parties, putting up inexpensive hotels or pub crawl in Amsterdam.

The message is rigid – in Amsterdam – a long weekend may produce the erroneous memories, the escapism that one long for in the famous party capital could cause in unavoidable convictions.
For almost £50, Brits can find return flights to Amsterdam.

Also, UK-based travel agencies in Amsterdam provide stag weekends, comprising canal boat cruises with limitless boozing, strip steak and red light district pub crawling.

For many years people have protested of intoxicated British nationals, messing up the area by urinating in public, throwing up wastes in canals, stripping off and getting engaging in drunken street fights.

This is not a one day happening. Amsterdam’s then mayor, almost a decade back had invited Boris Johnson, who had illustrated the city as “sleazy”.
