UK to experience thunderstorms in 26 areas

A severe amount of thunderstorms are occurring in several different parts of the UK. The flash flooding has promised to turn the drought situation into a better state.

The weather has settled since then. However, the weather forecasts to have another explosive shower this week.

Despite such contradictory weather conditions UK citizens have been able to handle the condition with actions like a hosepipe ban.

Temperatures remained in the higher 20C. The highest hitting has been 27C and above in parts of the southeast, accompanied by significant humidity. The weather forecast has identified another huge splash coming to hit.

Two weather warnings for Thursday, August 25 have been issued by the Met office.
Outbreaks of heavy, thundery rain will arrive in a band from the south coast. This will move northwest from 12 am to 3 pm.

A significant amount of showers will deposit between 10mm and 20mm in an hour for 15 hours. According to the Met office, it will cover quite a large area. Some areas are likely to see 30mm to 50mm or more amount of rain.

Some areas might experience a loss of power or other services. In case a lightening occurs the buildings might be damaged. Weather maps in WXCharts show another band of rain line which is over majorly over seven areas.

Beginning from 3 am on August 27, the rain will move over London and the South East. After the capital city coverage, it will cover Birmingham.

The band of rain will however shrink to cover just London and parts of Oxfordshire and Cambridge by 9 am, after this it will grow again at 12pm.

Around 3 pm, several smaller rain pockets are likely to migrate further north, which will pass around Scotland.

It is expected that many Britons face the rains.
Currently, the areas under threat are East Midlands, East of England, and London and South East within its warning area.
